The Conjuring: Last Rites has made box office history in India, delivering Hollywood’s biggest opening weekend of 2025. Released on September 5, 2025, in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, the horror sequel captivated audiences nationwide.

Record-Breaking Opening Weekend

The ninth installment of the Conjuring Universe opened across 2,130 screens, including IMAX theaters, collecting:

  • Day 1: ₹17.31 crore

  • Day 2: ₹17.03 crore

  • Day 3: ₹15.2 crore

  • Total 3-day opening: ₹49.54 crore net (₹58.45 crore gross)

This launch sets a new benchmark for Hollywood horror films in India and marks Warner Bros.’ biggest debut in the country. It also surpasses all Hollywood openings in India for 2025.

Cast and Crew

The film sees franchise favorites Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson return as paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, confronting their darkest case yet.
