The incident took place on September 2, 2024, in the 3300 block of Ravenwood Road, Colwood, where police discovered two vehicles ablaze and evidence of gunfire directed at a residence. Officers evacuated an occupant of the home, and the Colwood Fire Department responded to extinguish the vehicle fires.
On October 30, 2024, Kingra was arrested in Ontario and charged with discharging a firearm with intent and arson. He is scheduled to appear in court in Ontario today.
Search for Additional Suspect
Another suspect, 23-year-old Vikram Sharma, is currently wanted and believed to have escaped to India. An arrest warrant has been issued for Sharma, who is last known to be residing in Winnipeg.
